Meet Our Board Of Directors
Jared S. Jenkins, Founder/President
Jared was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK. After receiving both academic and athletic scholarships, Jared moved to Rolla, MO to be a student-athlete (football) for the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly known as the University of Missouri-Rolla). Jared earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and in Business & Management Systems and graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
While in college, Jared endeavored on two study abroad trips, China and South Africa. These trips ultimately became the inspiration for Black Entrepreneurs’ See the World, BE the Future campaign. With this campaign, he aims to equip promising Black Entrepreneurs with global experience and exceptional communication skills to help guide them on their journey to success.
Currently, Jared is employed in a full-time position as a Senior Functional Enterprise and Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant for the North Carolina-based firm, Sunrise Technologies, while living in St. Louis, MO.
Jerald S. Jenkins, Founder/Treasurer
Jerald was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After high school, Jerald earned his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Business Administration, at Southwestern College. Jerald also earned two graduate degrees, a Masters of Arts in Management Leadership and a Master of Business Administration, at Webster University.
Jerald is a proud military veteran of the United States Air Force. Following an outstanding career in the Air Force branch of the United States Armed Forces, he retired after 25 years of service.
Jerald is a member of the National Black Masters of Business Administration Association.
His passion is to work with current Black Entrepreneurs to assist in developing and realizing the full potential of their vision.
Currently, Jerald is employed as a Co-Director with the St. Louis-based Business Development & Strategies (BDS Group) consulting firm while living in St. Louis, MO.
Lonnell D. Jones, Founder/Secretary
Lonnell was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. Prior to college, Lonnell graduated Valedictorian of his high school class at Ruskin High School. After receiving both academic and athletic scholarships, Lonnell moved to Rolla, MO. to be a student-athlete (football) for the Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly known as the University of Missouri-Rolla). Lonnell graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Management Systems at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Growing up with limited tools, Lonnell had to teach himself how to learn and be successful. Thus, Lonnell aims to bring his experiences and knowledge to future Black Entrepreneurs who grew up in similar circumstances.
Currently, Lonnell is employed in a full-time position as a Business Analyst for the St. Louis-based firm, Enterprise Holdings, while living in St. Louis, MO.
